Government – The Rules of the Game

Before you were even born, a folder was started with your name on it. When you took your first breath, a piece of paper was signed, a number was assigned to you, and suddenly, you became a “citizen.” In the final pillar of the Six Pillars, Government is the ultimate set of rules for the game of life on Earth.

But have you ever stopped to ask: “Who wrote these rules, and did I ever actually agree to play by them?”

The “Mind Control” in the Name

To understand this pillar, we have to look at the words themselves. The word “Government” comes from two old Latin roots:

  • Gubernare: To control or to steer.
  • Mens: The mind.

Literally, the etymology of the word suggests its true purpose: To control the mind. It is the pillar that tells the other five pillars (Education, Religion, Entertainment, Economy, and Health) how to behave. It is the “Boss” pillar.

Administrators or Rulers?

In theory, a government is supposed to be a group of administrators. Think of them like the staff at a summer camp. They are there to make sure the grass is cut, the water is clean, and everyone plays fair. They are supposed to manage the society.

But somewhere along the line, the administrators became the rulers. Instead of managing the roads and the parks, they started managing people’s lives. They started telling you what you can put in your body, what you can say, and how you must spend your energy.

The Big Question: Why do they have a say in how you live your life? Under whose jurisdiction (the power to make legal decisions) do you actually fall? As a soul, your only true “ruler” is the Source. But the Government pillar uses the “Persona” (your legal name and ID) to claim that you belong to them.

The Two Wings of the Same Bird

You will often hear adults arguing about “Right Wing” vs. “Left Wing” politics. They treat it like a giant sports game where you have to pick a team. But if you step back and look at the whole “bird,” you realize that both wings are attached to the same body.

While the wings flap in different directions, the bird stays on the same course. Politicians are often just the actors on the stage (remember the “Entertainment” pillar?). Behind the curtains, the people who really control them; big banks, massive corporations, and the 1%; don’t care which wing is flapping. As long as you are busy fighting over which wing is better, you won’t notice that the bird is taking you exactly where they want to go.

Is Corruption “Part of the Job”?

People often act surprised when they find out a politician is “corrupt.” But in a system designed to control people rather than serve them, corruption isn’t an accident; it’s a feature. When the “Rules of the Game” are written by the people who win the game, they will always write rules that help them to keep winning.

What Happens if You Don’t Participate?

The Government pillar loves it when you “participate in the circus.” They want you to vote, to argue, and to be afraid of the “other team.” This keeps your focus on the material world and away from your power as a soul.

What happens if you stop playing their game?

  • You start following Universal Law (be kind, don’t steal, do no harm) instead of just “Legal Rules.”
  • You realize that you are your own “Governor.”
  • You stop waiting and looking for a savior and start leading your own life.

Reclaiming Your Jurisdiction

True freedom happens when you realize that no human being has the “right” to rule your soul. You can follow the rules of the society to stay safe and helpful, but you never have to give them your mind.

You are a traveler in this realm. You are passing through their “jurisdiction,” but your soul belongs to the Source.
