When you arrive on Earth as a new soul, you are like a traveler landing in a vast, unfamiliar territory. One of the very first things the world tries to give you is a map for your soul. In the Six Pillars, this is the pillar of Religion and Spirituality.
The Choice Made by/for You
Because you are new and learning how to navigate this material world, the system usually requires you to pick a “dogma.” A dogma is a set of rules and stories that tell you what to believe without questioning it. If you don’t choose one, often one is chosen for you by your family or your culture before you can even speak.
Most of these dogmas have a common denominator: they tell you that salvation, the feeling of being safe, loved, and “saved” is something that comes from the outside. They might say you need to have enough faith, follow specific rituals, or even give 10% of what you earn to stay in good standing.
But if you are looking for your true self in a building or a book, you are looking in the wrong place. The Source, the true Creator of everything already knows exactly who you are. You don’t need to look outside yourself to find what is already breathing life into you.
The Trinity: You are the Architecture
You might have heard of the “Trinity.” While many stories describe this as three separate beings in the sky, the real secret is that the Trinity is You.
- The Soul: Your eternal spark.
- The Mind: Your processor.
- The Body: Your vessel.
When these three are aligned; meaning your body and your mind are exactly where your soul wants to be; you are in Heaven. It’s a state of perfect peace. But when your body is doing one thing, your mind is worrying about another, and your soul is somewhere else entirely; that is what Hell feels like. It’s the friction of being out of alignment.
Decoding the Ancient Stories
To understand this pillar, you don’t need to literally cross a Red Sea or find a physical garden with a talking snake. These stories are actually “user manuals” for your own brain!
- Crossing the Red Sea: This is a metaphor for moving your consciousness. It’s about learning how to switch the “sea” of your thoughts from the logical left hemisphere of your brain to the creative, intuitive right hemisphere.
- Adam and Eve: Think of them as your Conscious and Subconscious minds. The conscious “impregnates” the subconscious with it’s active thoughts and emotions. The subconscious nurtures and “births” the experience based on the beliefs you keep feeding with your energy.
- The Snake: Why would a snake try to give Eve “knowledge”? In the master plan of control, knowledge is often seen as dangerous because once you have it, you can’t be controlled anymore. The snake represents the spark of curiosity that makes you question the rules.
The Christos Within
To truly “meet” a higher power or a figure like Christ, you don’t look at a painting on a wall. Instead, you activate the Christos (a word meaning “anointed” or “light”) within yourself. This is the moment you realize that you aren’t just a human following a dogma; you are a piece of the Creator experiencing the world through a human vessel.
Living Without the Strings
When you realize that the true Creator already resides within you, the “Invisible Strings” of this pillar lose their power. You don’t need a dogma to tell you how to be good or how to find God, because you are the evidence of that creation already.
Being free means knowing that you are the compass. You don’t need to follow someone else’s map when you are the one who owns the territory.
Today, spend 6 minutes in silence. As different thoughts arise, begin separating them from the real You by writing them down. Instead of praying to something far away in the clouds, listen to the “hum” of the breath of life inside your chest. That is the Source. No middleman required.
